The main industrial attraction of Manali is 192 MW Hydro Power Project by Allain Duhangan Hydro Project Limited (ADHPL) which is a subsidiary of Malana Power Company limited (MPCL). There are also other hydro power projects located in near by place that can be visited, you can also visit Kullu for your industrial tour that has 2 Medium & Large SCALE industrial enterprises located at village Raison manufacturing natural spring water and aerated water owned by DS group, another option is to visit Co-operative mill run by Bhuttico near Manali.

Hadimba Devi TempleOne of the major landmarks of Manali, Hadimba Temple is situated in the middle of forests and known as Dhungri Van Vihar. Dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, Hadimba Temple is one of the masterpieces of the temple architecture in India.
Vashist Springs:High up under the snowy peaks, of the rocks at Vashist is situated the hot springs at Vashist. The water from the steaming springs is noted for its medicinal value and healing properties and has the potential of curing different kinds of ailments.
Brighu Lake In district Kullu, Brighu Lake lies east of the Rohtang Pass and is about 6-km from the village of Bulaba. The shores of this clear water lake are devoid of human habitation, yet it is visited regularly by the people of the area
Nehru Kund5 km from Manali on National Highway to Leh, a NATURAL spring of cold clear water named after Pt. Jwahar Lal Nehru, who used to drink water from this spring during his stay in Manali. This spring is believed to originate from the Bhrigu lake situated high-up in the mountains.
Manali Wildlife Sanctuary (3 km)A premier destination for wildlife lovers, the Manali wildlife Sanctuary occupies an are of 31.8 km and is home to musk deer, brown bear, leopard and snow leopard
Arjun Gufa (Cave) On the way to Naggar, the cave is situated near Prini village above the road where Arjun had meditated. This is a good 1/2 day excursion with CHARMING view of the brilliant mountains.
Jagatsukh:6 km from Manali located on the left bank of Beas on the road to Naggar, the place is famous for very old temples of Lord Shiva and Sandhya Gayatri in Shikhara style.
Manu Temple3 km from the main bazaar in old Manali lays the temple of Manu Rishi. It is believed that this is the only temple of Manu in India, who was the creator of human race on the earth.
Tibetan MonasteriesThere are colourful monasteries, where visitors can buy carpets and other Tibetan handicrafts. Two are located in the town and one at Aleo on the left bank of Beas River.

Excursions
Solang Valley (13 km) It is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. It has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guesthouse of the Mountaineering and Allied SPORTS Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised here. Training in skiing is imparted at this place.
Rahla Falls (14 km) The beautiful Rahalla falls are located at an altitude of 2500m.
Kothi (12km) A picturesque village the place has a thrilling view of the deep gorge through which the Beas swiftly races.
Bijli Mahadev Shrine Located at an altitude of 2,460 meters, Bijli Mahadev Temple, 11km from Kullu, is the shrine of Lord Shiva, the temple is so named because according to the belief of the people the 20-meter high staff inside the temple gains blessings from the heavens in the form of lightning (Bijli).
Rohtang Pass (50 km)Located 50 km from Manali, the Rohtang Pass is the gateway to Lahaul Spiti. Located at an altitude of 4111 m on the highway, Rohtang Pass is one of the top travel attractions of Manali. A paradise for adventure SPORTS enthusiasts; one can visit the Beas Kund and Dasohar Lake. The Beas River originates from Beas Kund.
KeylongLocated at an altitude of 3350 m, Keylong is the headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. The beauty of the region beggars description. Rudyard Kipling said of the region “Surely the God live here this no place for men.” The route to Lahaul takes a traveler over Rohtang Pass, Koksar (1st village of Lahaul) Sissu, Gondla and crossing the river Chandra Bhaga at Tandi.
