The main industrial attraction of Manali is 192 MW Hydro Power Project by Allain Duhangan Hydro Project Limited (ADHPL) which is a subsidiary of Malana Power Company limited (MPCL). There are also other hydro power projects located in near by place that can be visited, you can also visit Kullu for your industrial tour that has 2 Medium & Large SCALE industrial enterprises located at village Raison manufacturing natural spring water and aerated water owned by DS group, another option is to visit Co-operative mill run by Bhuttico near Manali.

Nehru Kund5 km from Manali on National Highway to Leh, a NATURAL spring of cold clear water named after Pt. Jwahar Lal Nehru, who used to drink water from this spring during his stay in Manali. This spring is believed to originate from the Bhrigu lake situated high-up in the mountains.

It is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. It has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guesthouse of the Mountaineering and Allied SPORTS Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised here. Training in skiing is imparted at this place.

Bijli Mahadev Shrine
Located at an altitude of 2,460 meters, Bijli Mahadev Temple, 11km from Kullu, is the shrine of Lord Shiva, the temple is so named because according to the belief of the people the 20-meter high staff inside the temple gains blessings from the heavens in the form of lightning (Bijli).
